Well, 16, which we’ve got, prevents them from ramming through a constitutional amendment.

34 is the next barrier. If we can get 34, we can ram a constitutional amendment the other way barring this crap. Forever.

Interesting, I did not know this either. Can you give more details on our ramming through a constitutional amendment. What would it bar?

You need 38 states, not 34 for an amendment (75%). And although there is apparently a process by which states can pass an amendment without the approval of Congress, it hasn’t been done before.
