You nailed it. Holder's law firm has defended more terrorists pro bono than any other law firm. We're funding Gitmo from the treasury - it would probably be cheaper to close Gitmo. The biggest problem would be bringing foreign combatants into our civilian penal / legal system.
This is nothing but a way to give them access to the U courts in an attempt to free them.
Alcatraz just needs new locks on the doors.

Afterwards, every time a prisoner is paroled or released, a new sleeper cell will spring up. As long as the al queda and taliban detainees are herded together at GITMO, they will be unable to spread their terrorist philosophy.
I am confused. I heard a video of Rand Paul praising Feinstein on her ammendment and later read he is against bringing the gitmo detainees to the USA. Yes, up popped other articles stating the opposite. How can he praise her ammendment and oppose bringing them to America?
Could the praise for Feinstein from Paul have been on this amendment?
