At work, I am outside or in hangars quite a bit. So I wear the full arctic issue if needed. Today at -25, it was needed.

But, we went out to get groceries, and I wore tennis shoes and a leather jacket and gloves. No problem.

You dress for how much time you will be outside. But, you always have extra stuff in the car just in case.

Makes great sense on both accounts.

The problem here is when it reaches 115 you can only take off so much clothing! ROFL!
