If they do this, the senate will effectively become like the House. Not only will the minority power have less power, the individual senators themselves will also lose quite a pit of power. Which makes it odd that they’d actually follow through on this, rather than come up with some Gang of 14 type of compromise,
I think it’s bluster.
If Reid really is that shortsighted, hopefully he’ll be regretting it in 2 years.
