What was the point then of putting on an obviously biased apologist for Obama on a “news” show. If he didn’t want to respond himself then he should at least have had someone on the other side to present both sides.

Take a look at the video - he was completely unprepared to deal with the guy and the guy left with a smirk knowing that he had gotten the better of the exchange.

And what on earth does the fact that Scott’s son is a West Point Grad have to do with any of this?

I don’t think Scott was trying to cover for the left, he just wasn’t too quick on his feet.
I can just imagine how Chris Matthews would have reacted in the same situation, or O’Reilly or Hannety or even Greta!

Jon Scott is a professional journalist. An emmy award winner at that. If he was hosting for Hannity your comment might be warranted, but he was not.
Additionally, Jon's son is an Army Lieutenant and West Point Grad. How many journo's can say that?

I agree, and I think The Shrew would agree with you also.  He'll have to confirm it, if he wants to.  This sure didn't seem to be the tune you were humming a few minutes ago.

Once again, I agree.  And once again, I think The Shrew would agree with you.  Why didn't you just say these things to begin with?

By the tone of his comments, it seems that The Shrew agrees with my take that having a son at West Point should cause a father to be more grounded than Scott seems to be here.

This obvious Leftist should have, and easily could have been destroyed in very short order, on the points he made.  That he wasn't is an insult to decency.
