They are out in the cold.
Pretty soon these nonpersons will be removed from official photographs/images. I would wager the obscure are beginning to fade away as we type, if a few haven't had unfortunate events/accidents already.
Persistence on their part will be likely rewarded with prosecution on some charge, the systematic destruction of their reputations, or a dirtnap.
The high profile people involved are a clear message to the little folks that no one is too big, none too prominent, none too important, so the lesser players had better keep their mouths shut.
Calling this a Stalinesque obscenity is an understatement. For the second operation we know of (Fast and Furious/Castaway, now Benghazi, both likely gunrunning operations) which was likely approved at the highest levels within our government, people have been slaughtered and the Ministry of Propaganda (ABCNNBCBS) has barely made a peep.
I agree...and they'll probably be photoshopped out before the next Immaculation.
Immediately after the attack there were several articles and interviews on the tube explaining that:
1. the attack triggered alerts to everybody in the military and the government who had any involvement in the problem or the possible solutions.
2. the military prepares for situations like that and has men and equipment ready to respond on a moment's notice.
3. it is likely that the military commanders in Africa and Europe including the Navy, began responding by starting to move move men and equipment toward Benghazi to rescue or support the rescue.
4. live video feeds from the Benghazi consulate were available to a large number of military commanders and government officials.
5. the rescue plans require a presidential order to allow the military to enter a foreign country
6. Libya has no effective government.
7. If the US wanted an authorization to enter their airspace, Libya would have given it.
SO, why weren't the men rescued?
