And their pretense at expecting a Rat liberal judge to be honest.

Manny Real may have been appointed by LBJ, and indeed he issued some liberal decisions early on, e.g., busing for Pasadena. But he is no liberal. The Ninth Circuit leftists absolutely hate him.
That’s not to say he’s behaved ethically here. Dunno. But if you described Manny Real as “a liberal” in the LA legal community, you’d draw laughs.
