Former senior aides to Mitt Romney have hit back at the 'craven hypocrites' in the Republican party who just days before the election were clamouring for jobs in a Romney administration and are now belittling him.
'There were one or two well-known figures who were late committing to support him, were the most eager to curry favour when it looked like we would win and are now out there trashing the governor.
(snip)
But the other senior adviser, who declined to be named when criticising senior Republicans, singled out Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Newt Gingrich as among those who had been quickest to lambast Romney. After Romney told donors on a post-election conference call that many voted for President Obama because he had offered them 'gifts', Jindal said Romney's comments were 'absolutely wrong'. He said: 'We have got to stop dividing American voters. We need to go after 100 per cent of the votes, not 53 per cent - we need to go after every single vote.'
That was a reference to Romney's notorious '47 per cent' comments in which he said that proportion of voters was dependent on government and would inevitably back a Democrat.
Gingrich called the 'gifts' comments 'nuts' and 'insulting' to voters.
The anonymous adviser said: 'Bobby Jindal wanted very, very much to be Vice President. He appeared publicly with Governor Romney after the 47 per cent comments, which the governor himself said were totally wrong. 'Newt Gingrich made it clear to us he wanted to be part of a Romney administration. 'Both these guys - and others - were the governor's best friend when it seemed he was on the brink of becoming our 45th President. Now they're calling him a bum. Real profiles in courage.'

FUMR. you losers lost even with a bad economy and so you can go to hell.
Quit trying to bring others down with you.
Here’s a good job for Mitt. Help clean out the cesspool called the GOPe.
One of the breaths of fresh air from Romney was his “47%” remark. It was, of course, dead on accurate. What infuriates me is that nearly every establishment Republican thinks he shouldn’t have spoken the truth. And Romney even distanced himself from his own remark!
I figured the leak of that “47% remark” represented a door being cracked open for the perfect opportunity to describe the rat base as exactly what it is - - a pack of moochers, deadbeats, bums, and parasites who vote for politicians to confiscate more tax money... from friends and neighbors... and hand the loot over to them, the moochers, in exchange for their votes. This basic truth can EASILY be backed up with raw data and evidence galore.
I mean, does anybody truly believe the welfare / food stamp dependency class votes Republican??
There’s a reason Ubanga never brought up the “47%” remark in the debates...
A Fool and his money are soon departed and used car salesmen stink.
End of the Romneys..poof..they are gone. We don't want no more stinking Michigan crooks running for office...got it?
Any conservative or repub that fails to recognize that fact is unprepared for what happens next.
To understand what happens next, google the "Killing fields of Cambodia".
We are dealing with Marxism here. Trotsky brand genuine commie pukes.
Ironically, I agree with you (FUMR) and I also agree with the “advisor” (FUBJ and FUNG).
They’re ALL a bunch of cowards.
Give me a candidate who isn’t afraid to screw political correctness and speak the truth.
But I guess the Illinois “crook” will do .. huh ..??
Mitt Romney is not a crook .. and it’s disgusting that some people here can’t find any body else to rip apart.
Can we now go through life without hearing anything else about Mitt Romney? Please??
The 47% of America comment could have been rebutted by exposing that Obama is against more than half of America based the fact the not one Repucblican voted for Obamacare. Mr. President you pushed through a policy the manortiy opposed!
Illinois is a war zone but Michigan is a devastation zone..it may have tipped the election. Says a lot about the state of the country..and our so-called “party”.
What the GOP really needs is a voter fraud czar and department. Someone to teach US how to do like the commie ‘RATS.
Romney is the ultimate GOPe.
Not sure where the outrage at Romney is coming from here. His advisers are pointing out how cowardly and hypocritical these so called “conservatives” are. I thank them for letting us know who we CANNOT trust in the future. Romney’s ‘gifts’ remarks were 100% fact, and disavowing them in order to pander to welfare leeches is not only a stain on these men’s characters, but a direct willingness to collaborate with the socialist agenda.
Those defending Jindal are delusion. He’s the one in the wrong here, just as Christie was in the wrong when he made out with Obama.
If, after Romney’s loss, we’re going to make sure our candidates are true conservatives in their words and actions, let’s hold everyone to that standard, shall we?
As big and costly a gaffe as it was, no one ever succeeded in defining what it meant, did they?
LOL!
Romney speaks the truth and you fall for the Democrat "mainstream" newsroom propaganda that it was a "gaffe"?
/close chuckling headshake
What you said BUMP.
Precisely correct.
Yeah, I think so.
How long did the McCain and Dole hangovers last? A month or two?
