A 27-year-old Maryland woman has been arrested and charged with stabbing her half-brother in the neck with a serving fork following an argument over Thanksgiving dinner Thursday, police said.

Annapolis police were called to an apartment on Madison Street where they found 23-year-old Deonte Wallace in the parking lot with two stab wounds.

What ticked me off is that before the ungracious lib arrived, I said to everyone else, "The rest of us are all conservatives with facts at our fingertips. We have him outnumbered and outgunned, but let's be kind and not bring up politics today so he won't be humiliated and we can all have a pleasant holiday." Hah! My consideration of his feelings was entirely misplaced. After he had eaten the food--food for which I had shopped and paid, food I had prepared and cooked and served, food I placed on the china and crystal and newly-polished silver and ironed napkins, laid upon the polished mahogany table in the scrubbed, dusted, vacuumed house, food I cleaned up after he had consumed it without lifting a finger to help--this liberal went into the next room with a guest and made fun of the intellect of conservatives. I overheard him and pranced in to remind him that he was not being considerate, and he said, "Then don't listen." He was lucky he didn't have 27 stab wounds in his neck.

You always see a story or two like this every year. I remember in my hometown, many moons ago, a couple of rednecks got into it over who would get the last drumstick off the turkey. Guy stabbed his cousin over it, or something.
