'After nights of relentless pounding by rockets and a rising death toll, the fragile ceasefire between Israel and Gaza's Hamas rulers has been tentatively welcomed by civilians on both sides.
But it appears the truce was not a pleasing outcome to a group of battle-hungry Israeli soldiers which wanted to carry on the fighting and invade the Gaza Strip.
To spell out their frustration, 16 Israeli Defence Force soldiers arranged their uniformed bodies on the ground, to spell out the Hebrew words 'Bibi loser' in an angry reference to Prime Minister Benjamin (Bibi) Netanyahu.
The photo has now gone viral causing the IDF to investigate - a spokesperson said it frowned upon soldiers expressing political opinions while in uniform.
While there have been calls for the soldiers in the photo to be court-martialled, others have agreed with their frustration after IDF were instructed to prepare for battle and then told to stand down, reported the Times of Israel.'

As many have learned and will continue to learn, telling the truth will likely get you punished. Certainly is true here in the US. Of course, DEMs could say they wanted to kill PWB or see him dead and that wasn’t a problem. Say the same about Obama, and you might as well start planning for the afterlife.
PWB => GWB

Mr. Watson seems to try to make it sound that these Iraelis are just blood-thirsty neandrathals like their Pali counterparts. This is, of course, not true. They’ve simply had enough of war and want to put a stop to it once and for all.
I also am disappointed that Netanyahu won’t finish the b@$t@rds off, and I’m far from a war monger.
Yeah, I understand the frustrations of these guys, but I can also understand Bibi’s situation. If he had invaded Gaza (might still happen, we’ll see how long this ceasefire lasts), Egypt would have been a genuine concern in the years to come. He has enough to worry about with Iran.
I think this conflict may have just been a test of the Iron Dome the more I look at it. It works great, and if an attack on Iran happens, Israel will invade Gaza preemptively, so it will have to deal with rocket attacks there and then.
Were the rumors about Obama’s Sinai troop deployment deal true?
LOL! I told people here on FR what the photo meant in a posting yesterday that had that photo at the link.
I think it is time for a the Gaza Urban Renewal Project. Rent a fleet of B-52 bombers from the US and carpet bomb every building until they are all leveled. Be sure to leaflet the area three days beforehand so the Muzzies have a chance to leave for Egypt.
The Jewish leader who turns those settlers lose upon the Palies will become a national hero and make history.
Wrong. They are soldiers. Posing for this picture was not only stupid, it was insubordination.
Hezbollah would have loved a ground invasion into Gaza. It would have freed them up enough to launch Scuds on the northern Israeli air bases from Lebanon. Utimately this will all end with the Hezbollah, Hamas and Syria in piles of radioactive ash and Egypt esentially wiped out when the Aswan dam is destroyed by Israel. Israel will pay a price for these victoriess though. But we know God wins in the end. :)
They are soldiers- they want to win, and that means going in and killing their enemies. And their politicians won’t let them- so of course they are mad- and if history is any guide, they’ll be the ones who are correct in the end.
The Israeli Solders have every right to be pissed. They were ready to take care of the problem once and for all and then once again the politicians interfered and put themselves above the long lasting security of their citizens.
It’s just buying time and putting out the Iranian fire first. Morsi gets to complete his take over of Egypt and Israel gets to attack the Shia. The Sunni will get their guns pointed in the right direction eventually. It’s a strategic blunder and typical of the Obama/Clinton/Carter foreign policy.
Man bites dog.

Thanks for the translation. I couldn’t get the mirror down.
Don’t threaten war unless you plan to follow through. Hamas is crapping its pants while blustering about driving Israel into the sea. Bibi should have called their bluff. He backs down and he makes himself and Israel look weak, gives the message that Obama can pull his chain, and permits Hamas to claim victory. Israel won the limited military skirmish but lost the PR battle.
