The problem is these idiots bring their liberal politics with them and mess up the red states.

California is a liberal’s paradise, it’s the product of their mindset. Hopefully it’s the small government-type people getting out of the California hellhole.

I imagine some of the exodus are libs, but I'd bet most are conservatives leaving the state.

ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE: Once a week, bright and early, my wife calls a close female friend in Vegas for worship talk. Before the worship begins, they talk of other things. The woman in Vegas owns a moving company, and she informed my wife of a growing trend: conservatives moving to Texas. In fact, right after the election, this company moved 4 families to Texas! And, yes, she knew they were all conservative families.

On the negative side, I hate to see conservatives leave a swing state (Nevada), but I did the same thing two decades ago. My wife and I left California for Arizona and Nevada.

But we brought our Neanderthal conservative values with us.

Something to consider...

On this day after Thanksgiving, I am truly grateful for the show Swamp People and similar shows.

I think they create an impression of life in Louisiana that keeps most Californians away from the state.

The cancer metastasizes. We have watched demographics and voting patterns change in CO as a result of this.

They know they have to get out. But they don’t understand what caused the problems they flee. They are the problem.

Texas need to start building 45,000 10-story pink apartment buildings across the Texas plains...With window bars.

And since all that's left are illegals coming to Texas, I suggest y'all learn Spanish!

re: “The problem is these idiots bring their liberal politics with them and mess up the red states.”

You are EXACTLY correct. This has happened in Nevada. Nevada used to be a consistently conservative state in its voting in national elections.

However, from the 1980’s through 1998, the lost cost of housing vs. the through the roof cost of housing/living in California drove many Californians to move to nearby Nevada.

This constant influx of Californians into Nevada soon showed itself in state and national elections. Clark county was always a Democrat district, but all the other counties, including Washoe, usually went Republican. Now that is all gone, except for the rural counties.

Clark county, though it has always been a dem stronghold, is now near total Democrat controlled, and Washoe county voted Democrat in 2008 and 2012. Reid used to have to act conservative back in the 70’s and 80’s, even early 90’s - but, no more.

If Texas continues to get more and more Californians, it WILL begin to see this affecting local and national election results.

As a Colorado Native who had to leave to keep some sanity I whole heartedly agree. There ought to be a high fence to keep the Kalifornians in Mexifornia.

The first things they say once they arrive to screw up your state is “that isn’t how we did it in California”. It should be sufficient to have them deported.

Bingo. I wouldn't mind so much if these folks would leave their failed liberal ideas and ways at the California border. But no, they bring their failed ideas, ways and philosophies with them and soon the cancer starts in the state they move in to.

Being a native born Texan I've seen over the decades how the state has moved from the right to the failing and cancerous left. My message is go somewhere else but please stay out of Texas if you can't shed your failed ideas and ways. Better yet, stay in California and fix the situation there instead of exporting them to the rest of us.
