A republican for tax increases, sadly not a news story anymore. It is time for the republican party to wither and die.
Another *conservative* who doesn’t get the more you give the government the more it will spend and the more it will spend the more debt we will have.
It is going to tax cuts in spending and then a tax increase (in that order) to fix the problem. Interest payments on the national debt will one day exceed all government revenues. That is the cliff.
I believe it is in the withering stage now, and death will follow soon.
I will not miss it.
Rebranding is not a solution, it would lead to a vote split and huge democrat majorities and then when the GOP folds the new party would have the same old people in it. Look at what happened in Canada.
Winning primaries is the only solution.
