This just sounds like they are trying to find an official person to charge with homicide. It HAS to be a homicide, because that nice teacher and her husband died, and a neighborhood blew up. It couldnt possibly just be an accident involving a house filled with gas, which found an ignition source.
Agreed. This was a "city" owned gas company. That is another factor that is involved with this tragedy.

Ok,, that sure gives the city an incentive to make this someone else’s fault. At a paltry 250k per household, it gives them about 20 million reasons. This will wind up being a hundred million dollars worth of lawsuits.
The city would love for this to be a homicide, an attempt at arson fraud, or some heater mechanic who did shoddy work.
