Actually, the best thing conservatives could do is to register
en masse as Democrats and run for office everywhere as Democrats. Conservative ideas would prove surprisingly appealing to certain Democrat factions, and the leadership would go into convulsions as conservatives started winning seat after seat - now immune to the billions spent on demonizing the Republican brand.
It would be much easier for conservatives to become players in the existing one party Harlem Globetrotters state than to try to take over the Washington Generals from the GOPe and keep losing elections.

I agree with that.
Beat them with their own tactics.
Furthermore, the GOP brand is posion now.

LOL - that’s what many dems have done to the GOP over the years, I’ll bet.

Already registered as a Democrat the day after the election, (I'm out here in California). We should be asking ourselves then, who should conservatives run in the DNC Presidential primaries of 2016?
Is there a candidate like Zell Miller we conservatives could use to be nominated for the DNC's presidential candidate?
