No, they did not. This time around an "Independent Commission" is who drew the lines in Florida. He should have been able to win in that district he ran in...he overplayed the past intoxication issue with his opponent which may have backfired by the amount he focused on it.
It was the job of the Legislature to re-district. They should have looked after their own....the Dems always did.
There are way more registered dems in St. Lucie County than republicans. Gerrymandering didn’t help West.
