I think she may underestimate the level of burning,seething hatred that many of the guys harbor for her after all these years.

No doubt she does underestimate it. That resentment justifiably rings the bell and is nigh immeasurable. The amazing thing to me is that even in this debauched nation she was allowed back in, and has never faced trial for treason. I guess it is all because there was no formal declaration of war between the US and North Vietnam.
Maybe the Tea Party or the VN Vets should hold a mock treason trial for Ms Fonda? She deserves all the notoriety she would get from such a trial!
