CONGRESSMAN ALLEN WEST STATEMENT ON STATUS OF RACE

Posted by allenwestrepublic on November 18, 2012

Stuart, FL – Congressman Allen West released the following statement regarding the election results certified today by the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections:

“Since Election Day we have been working for a fair and accurate accounting of the election outcome in which voters can put their full trust. We will review the results of today’s recount and the other available data to determine how to proceed. I have been humbled by the support we have received and the hard work of so many to ensure the integrity of this process.

We look forward to the report which will be issued by the Secretary of State’s auditors this coming week which we hope will shed light on some of the outstanding issues.”

I’ve seen that. It doesn’t apply to Republican candidates or state or local Republican organizations. Basically it just means that the RNC and DNC can’t send poll watchers to voting precincts on Election Day. So what? A pox on both of them.

With Bondi, it’s hard to tell. She was a Romney supporter who claimed she was to be on his healthcare advisory team, should he be prez (she slipped and said he wanted Romneycare in every state). Will she (and Gov Scott) be honest and above board? Not sure...praying so. I’m getting so tired of these establishment folks.

Florida Election Results 2012: Allen West Decries Voter Fraud in Florida, And He is Right
http://www.policymic.com/articles/19206/florida-election-results-2012-allen-west-decries-voter-fraud-in-florida-and-he-is-right

.....The liberal mainstream press hasn’t carried this story widely or persistently. Then again, the conservative media is not carrying it widely either. I found three articles on Drudge Report, three on Breitbart and two on the Daily Caller. That is unfortunate because this is certainly newsworthy and the Florida voting process is a mess. I lay that blame at the foot of Governor Rick Scott. I am a liberal and a voter rights advocate. I want Allen West to lose. Badly. But I want democracy to win even more. Allen West is being robbed. Someone call the authorities.

“I don’t know if this is true.”

It is the Republican National Committee and only the Republican National Committee. They violated the law in New Jersey and, in the resulting court case, had to agree they wouldn’t do that again anywhere. That is all that settlement means - they will not violate election law regarding polling places and voters within the distance markers.

That has nothing to do with an individual candidate reporting voter fraud and nothing to do with recounts as the circumstances of recounts are defined by state law.

The National Committee has no legal standing and never has, to get involved with recounts or local voter fraud. It is the candidates who can ask for recounts (there is an automatic recount if the difference in votes is very slim and I don’t remember right now what that number is.) Poll watchers can report suspected voter fraud to the district attorney for investigation.

Folks, I know it may be too late, but why aren’t we, the GOP, pushing for the same action on a national scale (Mainly the areas where the results did not seem right). If the results for Allen West aren’t correct, maybe the main presidential election numbers may not be correct either.
The GOP has many great qualities. 99% of the time, if a GOP candidate looses he simply gets on stage and gives a very gracious concession speech. The Dems know this. And they use it to their advantage. America was furious with Obama’s antics. Do you think this most election came along, and all of the sudden the same complainers said “You know what, I will just stay home and not vote.”

Maybe I don’t get it. Maybe I should have stayed home. I don’t think so. Apparently when Allen West was given the results he said, “No, wrong answer. Count again....” Should the GOP not do the same thing?

The consent decree deals with RNC-initiated voter registration anti-fraud programs, and involves programs that appear targeted at minority voters. The decree doesn’t ban the RNC from doing anything. It requires pre-certification for any voter fraud programs that might aversely impact minorities.

The decree has NO RESTRICTIONS on election day poll watching programs, or post-election contestations.

BTW, the RNC has never had a program rejected in pre-clearance, because the RNC has NEVER implemented a program to have it submitted for clearance. The RNC doesn’t choose to involve itself in voter registration fraud.

Individual state groups and local groups handle this work. They are not covered by the decree (the RNC is covered even if it just works with the locals, and has to tell the locals that the RNC is covered by the decree, but the locals are not covered by it, and can spend their own money on these programs).

Anyway, my point was that we are talking about evaluating election results, and the consent decree had nothing at all to do with evaluating results, and the GOP is able to be involved, and in fact IS involved, along with some other closer races.

More generally, the blog that people keep quoting as claiming that THIS is why the democrats steal elections was poorly researched, and had both faulty facts and faulty conclusions.

For example, it claimed that Romney was leading in polls in Virginia, FLorida, Colorado and Michigan before the election — but Obama was leading in three of those states. It claimed that some places had 140% turnout, because it mistook a column on a report that said “total ballots” for the other column that was “total counts” — and there were 2 ballots for each voter.

I know that we all were more or less hopeful that Romney would win, and took more or less encouragement from polling data, massaged by our own preconception of what the electorate would REALLY look like. But we were wrong. Nate Silver was right (50 out of 50). Intrade was right. The polls were largely correct.

It would have been a pleasant surprise if Romney had won on election night. But it wasn’t a surprise that he didn’t, not according to the state-by-state polling data.

I don’t believe this so-called “fraud agreement.” If it is true, it seems that Allen West didn’t get the memo.

I think it is bs.

There is no real difference between their houses, the end result is that the democrats get everything they want.

Guys, it's over. This corrupt "Two-Party Cartel" is ONE IN THE SAME! You all have been played as suckers for the last few decades. So what will you do about it? Nada, nothing. Go watch your latest NFL game. The commies won. End of story.

In 1981 the Republican Party was sued in NJ by the Democrats for some kinds of shenanigans at polling/voting places. The Republican National Committee along with the State committee apparently agreed by settlement to not be a party to any claim of fraudulent voting. Because the NRC was involved the settlement it applies to them Nationwide. The judge at the time has since retired but apparently he comes out of retirement every year to to keep his past decision in effect. There is a more complete telling of this by a group called ‘Fellowship of the Minds’. I don’t see where this stops individual Republicans acting on their own responsibility from challenging any known fraudulent or highly suspicious votes on a state precinct by precinct basis.

Here is how you do it:

If you are going to play the game, you have to know the rules to win. If you play the game of politics, the election law is the rules. My husband became the Republican County chair and we studied the law until we were experts, then we won and Democrats lost and we stopped voter fraud.

We stopped the voter fraud as Republicans were the judges in the general election and I taught all our judges and clerks how to run their polling place according to law.

We had the best trained judges/clerks in the state as I retrained them every voting year. Then, I taught election law to county chairs and Republican lawyers who were running for judge positions. You see, there is no money in knowing election law so lawyers don't know it or study it, no reason for them to. I would tease the lawyers about that.

Then, I was the judge of the Early Voting Ballot Board and followed the law and threw out nursing home fraudulent ballots and other ballots that were illegal.

You see, Democrats don't know the law. They had run that county like they wanted, doubt they ever looked at that law book. We hit them with law and stopped their illegal practices.

Democrats did not like us.

The SoS of Florida needs to check this out:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2960971/posts?page=73#73

This is its own precinct #93 with 7 registered voters but generating 900 votes.

Given what it appears from the aerial view, the 900 votes is entirely possible — but from whom????
