Stuart, FL – Congressman Allen West released the following statement regarding the election results certified today by the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections:
“Since Election Day we have been working for a fair and accurate accounting of the election outcome in which voters can put their full trust. We will review the results of today’s recount and the other available data to determine how to proceed. I have been humbled by the support we have received and the hard work of so many to ensure the integrity of this process.
We look forward to the report which will be issued by the Secretary of State’s auditors this coming week which we hope will shed light on some of the outstanding issues.”
I was trying to suggest a word with no preconceived baggage. I am thinking of avoiding any instant, negative, or linked to any special group, word that might be a way to unite followers.
I have been a registered conservative wherever possible for my entire voting life...and that is a looooong time!
The GOP is impotent. That's why West is such a thorn in their side. The GOP tried in 2010 (according this blog) tried to vacate this decree but was blocked by a judge with a grudge.
The one problem I have is no one on the democratic side is being punished.
