Gingrich on Romney’s ‘gifts’ comments: ‘It’s nuts’
Yahoo News ^

"It's nuts," Gingrich told guest host Martha Raddatz on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday. "First of all, it's insulting. This would be like Wal-Mart having a bad week and going, 'The customers have really been unruly.' I mean, the job of a political leader in part is to understand the people. If we can't offer a better future that is believable to more people, we're not going to win."

Santa originally left coals in stockings and switches in shoes for bad children, as well as candy for the good ones. The original St. Nick was a 4th century Greek bishop who not only took care of the poor but, at the Council of Nicaea, punched the heretic Arius in the nose for defaming Christ.

Yeah, great guy. Comparisons and associations with this POTUS just Ugh.

Thanks for the bio bit. BTW, the original is the same one, just morphed a bit. Used for commercialism, but somehow always revered.

Anyone who doesn’t believe in him needs to chek out a toy store a few days befote Christmas where moms find money, time and just the right thing on her way to the grocery store for all the other stuff.
Or check out Barnes n Noble Christmas Eve and find harried, worried but joyful men on their one stop shop.

Same guy- Patron of children

"This is why the party is in free fall. The people out front who are telling the political truth become the target of one’s anger. Newt is right. Stop blaming Newt because Romney could not sell the conservative message. Romney had no business saying that 47% of the country is a write off. A party should...always..try to reach groups for them to think about what conservatism offers. Like Reagan did. Romney lost not due to Christe or Newt or Palin. Romney is a liberal and many of you hoisted him up as a true conservative, now you complain and target others. Not to worry, we will end up with another person who will lie to us in 2016. If Romney had not acted wimpy, making excuses (gifts comments), it would never brought out the pay you back voter. Anger does work with the voter. See the mirror. I am not helping Romney dig out of his hole. Listen to what Newt is trying to tell you politically. Imo."

Well said. Romney lied about Newt in the primary to win the nomination. Go Newt! Go Palin!

“Yet another reason to add to Gingrich’s baggage and why he lost and should never have entered the primaries.”

Yep! I just got a call from some organization supporting Newt as the new leader of the conservative movement. I told them I had supported him in the primaries, but he just lost me when he went after Romney for telling the truth about why voters went for Obama - free stuff like student loans forgiveness and other freebies.

Romney made a lot of mistakes, but this wasn't one of them. The GOP must be desperate, if they think people are on board with attacking Romney on this. I'm much more disgusted with Romney's french kissing Obama in the last debate and agreeing with everything Obama said in that debate. I guess he planned to coast to victory and now we're stuck with Obama.

They should have had more ads with the woman and her Obamaphone paid for by the taxpayers.
