Someone said they couldn’t hear the train because of the police sirens.

Oh boy. If that is accurate, I guess lawsuits would follow?

That still doesn’t fly.

Train crossings are rather simple really.

When you’re transporting a number of people, you make a complete stop before attempting a crossing.

Before crossing, you look both directions.

If you can go all the way across, it’s okay to do so.

If you can’t, you stop on the near side.

You can be totally deaf and still cross tracks safely.

I’m not saying this out of anger. I’m just sad this happened. Talking about the things to think of, may help someone else some day.
