Welcome to the Show of Support Military Hunt, Inc. website.
We are very excited with this years upcoming events. Our “Hunt for Heroes” Banquet will offer you many wonderful sponsorship opportunities, but we ask that you remember one thing; as you select our sponsorship levels, any support you give to these deserving individuals is an investment in their future recovery. By becoming a sponsor, you can take heart in the fact that you are showing these American Servicemen and women that you are proud of them and that you are thankful for all that they and their families have sacrificed.
Each year, we try to find new ways to say thanks to our servicemen & women. As we continue to grow, we hope that you will join us in honoring our Heroes.
Click on the “Sponsorship” tab at the top of this site and download a Reply Form. Complete it and send us your AD and form of payment to our P. O. Box or via e-mail and we can take care of that for you right away.

You have no concern for what causes such tragedies?
Wow!
Piss off!
If your in the area blood donations are needed!
They need O positive, if you can help please do.
See post 19 for one possible scenario. That being said, it would seem to many that a person of your longevity on FR would be a tad less crass. Unless you were an eyewitness, you have no more knowledge than any of the rest of us as to the chain of events. We can all speculate, but at this point unless you can offer some further enlightenment that fits the plausibility scale, I am in agreement with post 24.
Any additional information?
very sad..my heart goes out to all of them.
Then just sign out.
Heard on the news that the parade float got stuck on the tracks and the wives and veterans were on chairs but could not get off fast enough. The trains can go 45-60 mph and take miles to stop.
>> “ A possibility is that the driver cleared the crossing but then stopped for a traffic signal with the trailer still on the tracks.” <<
.
Every person licensed to operate that rig knows that you do not proceed across rails until you can get your entire vehicle clear. Did some chemical cloud the driver’s mind, or was he not a properly licensed and experienced operator?
We need to take things like this seriously. These kinds of mass distruction happen far too often. There is no excuse.
Ewe wish.
Ewe bin drinkin' agin?
Again, a person who has been on FR for as long as you have would tend to be less crass.
Eye don’t care!
Somebody has to turn these headless chicken threads towards a productive goal. Does everybody in Texas have to drive beer’d-up?
They turn what was supposed to be an uplifting event into a mass tragedy, and this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. The time for prayer was before the wheels started to roll.
