Actually, she does sound like she might have been somewhat conservative or at least patriotic, so I guess that would definitely not qualify her as a “deep thinker.”

But she’s going to be trashed in a big way now and will probably end up in jail, because I think she, rather than Petraeus, is going to be picked as the one to be blamed for everything. That is, not only the affair, but the entire state of Afghanistan, the Middle East, etc.

Her father said that it was not about the affair but about something else, and I think he probably knew what he was talking about.

Also, I wonder if in the course of her research and interviews, she came across things that might make the regime feel uncomfortable and possibly even exposed.

She spoke at a Republican fundraiser at one point. And the Florida woman in the scandal is a registered Republican according to politicalstrategies.com which tracks registrations in PA, OH and FL.
