(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration named Holly Petraeus--wife of retired Gen. David Patraeus, who resigned last week as CIA director after revealing he had had an extra-marital affair--to $187,605-per-yer job in the newly formed Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

Holly was appointed by none other than Fauxcahontas Elizabeth Warren in early 2011. David Petraeus was appointed in late spring of 2011 to the CIA. Paula Broadwell was porking him by late 2011.

Even Mark Styne made this mistake a few days ago, to think the Federal Reserve Bank is part of the US Federal Gov't. In an OC Register column he said it was a farce for one branch of the Federal Gov't (Federal Reserve) to buy up debt issued by another branch of the Federal Gov't, The US Treasury. But this is absolutely incorrect because the Federal Reserve is privately owned and good luck finding exact details on who owns and how much though we know it is the major banks of America such as Chase, Citi etc. The Federal Reserve operates in secrecy. 

Elizabeth Warren appointed her? To help it's popular image and to play footsie with liberal US Senators, the Federal Reserve set up and funds this program while lib Senators get to appoint their favorites to it. Plus I can guarantee you this Fed Reserve department is an affirmative action hiring hall. Mo' jobs for incompetent hacks, liberals and minorities...Yippee!!!!

These days the Federal Reserve buys 60% of the debt the US Treasury issues. This private bank is buying up most US debt because the Chinese have stopped.

Thanks very much (again). I know it's impossible to learn the details regarding the Federal Reserve and its deeply hidden ownership's in various banks, which is why I've always agreed with Ron Paul's idea to audit.

No, I made an error regarding Elizabeth Warren. I knew there was a connection between the two. She wrote a glowing Welcome to Holly using the White House Letter Head, suggesting they had become fast friends.

I think our present government under this regime has reached the point of total corruption and I hate to think this about the FBI. I'm seriously concerned, but holding out hope for the FBI.

Holly Petraeus grew up at West Point, where her father was the superintendent. She's spent 38 years as a military wife and spent six years heading the Better Business Bureau's Military Line, educating the troops about the financial scams targeting servicemen and veterans before taking this job. But by all means, let's focus on the fact that at 60-something she doesn't look or dress like a model.

Long before she met David Petraeus , Hollister Knowlton was Army royalty. Her great-great-grandfather fought in the Civil War and the Indian Wars; her great-grandfather was a brigadier general in the Spanish-American War; her grandfather served in both world wars, earning a Silver Star in the first and rising to lieutenant colonel in the second.

Her father, William Knowlton, is a retired four-star general and NATO commander. He also was superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy, which is how, in 1973, his daughter met her future husband.

Holly was a senior at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., visiting her parents for the weekend. A friend of her mother’s asked if she’d like to go to the football game with a cadet she knew. But when he turned out to be busy, the woman called the cadet office in search of an escort. The assignment fell to David Petraeus.

BTW the real down and dirty Fed is the NY branch of the Federal Reserve. The HQ is DC is there to do research, to smooth things over with Congress and the President and to hold lots of meetings on "policy". DC is the PR machine. The actions that affect our economy are carried out in NY. So who are the member banks who own the NY branch of the Federal Reserve? Try and find that one out. It is kept secret and why?
