At one time Americans wanted to work, it’s clear that these workers would rather collect unemployment.

Why worry about their pensions when they will be lost anyway if the place closes.

Tasty Kake, which is headquartered in Philadelphia, nearly went belly-up a few years back. That was not a union problem, but rather deficient management, as far as I can tell.
Anyhow, a baking company from one of the Carolinas took it over, introduced a few new products, and have the place humming along in great style. A happy ending for once!

Another great success story is Snyders of Hanover, PA and Lance Snack Foods from Charlotte, NC merged last year, and are really kickin’ butt in the snack world.
