President Obama took aim at Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham today at his White House news conference. In recent days, some reports have speculated that Obama will pick U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to succeed Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.
Rice made headlines after the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi by going on several Sunday talk shows and blaming an anti-Islam video for the situation. Her account turned out to be false, with the White House later admitting it was a planned terror attack on the U.S. Consulate.
Earlier today at a news conference on the Benghazi investigation, McCain and Graham said they would oppose that nomination if it is made by Obama.
Graham said he is “dead set on making sure we don’t promote anybody that was an essential player in the Benghazi debacle,” and even said that he doesn’t trust Rice.

I would say this...had Ms Rice declined the interviews after Benghazi....she might still have had a chance for the Secretary of State job. I suspect that it’ll be hard for her to make the cut, and they drop her within a week or two...offering her a job in the White House instead.
Obama needs to tell us when the “intelligence” changed. Obama told us in the second debate with Romney that he, Obama, called it a terrorist attack the day after the attack. (This is a false claim by Obama, but that is his story.) On the following Sunday, Rice makes her statements blaming the video. If Obama believed it was a terrorist attack on Sept. 12, the day after, then why did the White House (Obama) send Rice out 6 days after Obama’s Rose Garden statement to blame the video? Under Obama’s story, there had to be something between his Rose Garden statement and Rice’s statements that happened to the “intelligence” that justified Rice’s statements. If nothing happened, then Rice was contradicting Obama’s version of his Rose Garden statement.

My next question is what happens with Hillary. Will she get a position that puts her in line for 2016? She is every bit as radical a marxist as her boss, and the democrat party would love her as president.

Sorry Obama, but Rice is a US ambassador, and is not a little girl who needs her daddy to protect her. And, further, nobody is “going after” her. We only want to get her to tell the truth.

Obama can control the investigation if its after him.
He is worried someone will roll over on him.
You couldn’t believe a word she said because she was no in the chain of command. She was given a script and followed it to the letter.
The President was the one who chose to send Rice out to brief the press and congress. If she was not involved..why did they send her to represent them?
That would have been Secretary of State. Is there any position that could set her up better for a presidential run than that?
She's not an economist, so I doubt she's going for any position dealing with the economy -- and those jobs could get her blamed if things don't improve.
Many of the other jobs are earmarked for one minority or pressure group or another, and they'd definitely look like a step down for Clinton.
She could swap jobs with Rice and go to the UN, but she'd have to face the fact everyday that she wasn't calling the shots anymore.
So if she's planning to run, she'll probably take steps in that direction, and get ready to eventually campaign full time.
If she's not planning to run she could become some sort of roving ambassador, but I don't think Obama would give her the job if her main interest was getting his job in four years.
