Now under Obama they have some form of “community worker” role. That and the outspoken gays in the military should be quite enough to sabatoge any protective role our military would otherwise have.
These women have been present throughout US history. I am reminded of the 1st American Volunteer Group (AVG) of the Chinese Air Force in 1941–1942, in which Pappy Boyington and General Claire Chennault ran across the intrepid Olga Sowers Greenlaw, wife of Harvey Greenlaw the AVGs XO, who later wrote a book about the Group.She is said to have had several romantic relationships among the command group and some of the pilots.
These women are US versions of camp followers, not prostitutes mind you, please do not get me wrong. Just a feminine socialite wild card, always historically present around the powerful figures of our military. From time to time they traduce command hierarchy and the laws of secrecy with their intimacy.
We will all now shrug and move along from Petraeus and we will forget that a great General was black mailed into towing the Obama line on the Benghazi debacle. Its enough to make one puke.
Petraeus needs to appear befor a Congressional Committee and shaken down extensively, so we can discover just what happened.
