Governor Palin: “Who is running our country?”
Conservatives4Palin ^ | November 14 2012 | Moira Crooks

Posted on 11/14/2012 10:42:16 AM PST by Bratch

Governor Sarah Palin posed the question “Who is running our country?” in her latest Facebook note:

Who is running our country? We’ve got a CIA Director sharing security info with his mistress using an unsecure gmail account. We’ve got the delusional Susan Rice blaming the death of an ambassador on a Youtube video. We’ve got Iran firing on one of our drones a week before the election. We’ve got the White House either ignorant of or covering up all of this. Who is minding the store? Everywhere we look we see the rank incompetence or corruption of the people who are supposedly running our country and our major institutions. Let’s hope that responsible reporters at Obama’s press conference today ask the right questions Americans deserve answers to.

Here’s my question for the president: As our nation’s chief executive you claim to be unaware of the most important and tragic situations we’re facing; so, as a former chief executive, I’d like to know how long it takes for your staff to tell you things like: “Sir, your CIA Director is under investigation”?

too bad she didn’t get to run the 2008 campaign.

She did everything but drag "Maverick's" worthless, wattled CINO hinder across the electoral finish line, single-handed... and Team Mittens' damp clump of shills and sycophants, in return, have spent the last four years repaying that extraordinary effort (and unswerving devotion to, y'know, actual, principled conservatism) with hissing and wheezing and farting straight off the Kos and DU boards, word for spittle-flecked word.

They've condemned themselves to the political wilderness, for the next for years.

Good. ;)

I don’t discount her political career, but I don’t doubt her non political career either, as far as running for office. There are a ton of avenues where one can impact the country and the culture for good outside of elective office, or the pursuit there of.

The great thing about admiring Palin, without drinking her kool-aid, is that I can happily see her fill either role and not be disapointed.

The fact is that Governor Palin has been the most effective conservative in America for the last four years, she has been so successful in shaping the party into her own image, that she is already an historical figure, her Governors, congress people and Senators are what we all cling to in this hour of Romney/Rove caused desperation.

Romney was seen as the anti-Palin leader of the right, and was the actual GOP nominee, yet who do we all think has had more political success and influence since August 2008, and who do we all think will have the most success and influence in 2014?

Sarah,....

You lurk here we know you do...

I got it when you quit the Governorship. My gut told me you were going your own way, around "them", again my gut told me you'd start your own party.

"Thayrone" ( you know him from when you were in Ypsi ) in Michigan yesterday said he was ready for a new party, he has had it up to here.

Pardon my French but after having our asses handed to us, it is obvious the GOP is useless as teets on a bull.

They Divorced us long ago, it is time for us to move out.

Start a new party please, we have no home in the Rovian-E-GOP.

Apologies To Sarah Palin

By: rightwingnut2 (Diary)  |  November 10th, 2012 at 07:05 PM

In light of the revelation that Romney-Ryan received fewer votes than McCain-Palin, despite running against an incumbent president with the worst record in our nation’s history, I think it’s time to lay the theory that Sarah Palin cost McCain the election to rest.

In fact, I would argue that McCain would have lost by a much bigger margin without her on the ticket. He is no more loved by the base than Romney is.

Apologies can be sent here:

Rumor is she brought 13 million to the McLame Run, he really would have had his ass handed to him as bad as McGovern if not for Sarah.

Ever since Trent Lott said not to convict Clinton of impeachment because we have to save Democracy

Maybe Lott said that.

But most Republicans ignored him.

And every Democrat Senator voted "not guilty" on both charges.

It wazsn't the foolish Trent Lott who saved Clinton's corrupt butt. It was the Democrats who unanimously supported a President who decided that perjury wasn't "a high crime or misdemeanor".

The great thing about admiring Palin, without drinking her kool-aid, is that I can happily see her fill either role and not be disappointed.

Sarah can do anything she puts her mind too, for some Insane reason she has decided to hitch her wagon to our falling star.

That is what I have been telling people for YEARS now, she knows the Presidency, Governorship, et al, isn't about her. It is bigger than her.

She is quite literately the Anit-Ubama.

I Pray for the day when Sarah is not needed, when she can go her own way and we can handle this situation ourselves.

I think it’s time to lay the theory that Sarah Palin cost McCain the election to rest.

Given that Sarah was:

A.) ... NOT responsible for devising the hated precursor to ObamaCare; nor --

B.) ... NOT vulnerable to the 'Rats' trumped-up, deceitful "War On Women" rhetoric --

... there simply is No. Way. In. Hades. that she could have conceivably done any worse against Obama, this time out, than did the GOP-e's handpicked ambulatory Hair Club For Men ad.

And that's the name o' that tune. ;)

She let me down with that flirtation run in 2012. Once fooled, twice shy.

She's a vote-tease.

Look, Laz, I was very disappointed that Sarah didn't run in 2012. For whatever reasons, she decided that it wasn't her moment. As much as I hate that conclusion, I have to accept that.

But I, for one, will not use flippant cliches to justify not supporting her in 2016, should she decide to run.

If Sarah does run, I suspect you'll get over your hurt feelings and disillusionment with her, and eventually give her your support once again.

I sincerely hope that you do, in any event, because we need a passionate, patriotic nominee in 2016, and Sarah Palin is still a distinct possibility for filling that role.

Every word you typed is True! One of the most articulate responses I have read in a very long time. She is the leader of the Conservative moment, whether she runs for the Oval Office or not, her influence has been felt and it has been felt deep.

The most tormented political soul in our country is Joe Lieberman and he just maybe too stupid to see it.

He could have asked Clinton to resign that day with Kerry, Moynahan on the Senate floor, he didn't. He put us through what was it 33 days of hell with Bush v Gore in FLA, he could have been a gentleman and asked Al not to do this for the sake of the country, and he didn't. He was one of that should have voted for Impeachment,

So true.

In fact, Joe Lieberman has had several opportunities to play "Tiberius at the Bridge". He failed every time:

1. Gore-Bush, as you cite.

2. Clinton impeachment, as you cite.

3. Obamacare. He could've voted "No", in behalf of his home state insurance industry, and ended the entire sick process. Instead, he negotiated a temporary reprieve for his home state insurance industry...and voted "Aye".

Three opportunities the man had to act in favor of America and its citizens...and he failed on every one of them.

Joe Lieberman, a "man of conscience"? Perhaps. But a weak man, without question.
