Defense Minister Ehud Barak has declared a special situation in all Israeli territory, covering all Israeli cities up to a radius of 40 kilometers around the Gaza Strip.
The decision will have a number of effects.

The Jerusalem Post had an article today about rockets targeting Tel-Aviv.
Of course, Hamas has fired over 200 rockets at Israel in the last 24 hours. That story is also on the Jerusalem Post.

I had that wrong about 200 rockets.
Hamas has fired about 95 rockets with Israel intercepting 25 with Iron Dome.
Israel, in return, has hit over 200 targets in Gaza.
