State elections officials coming to St.Lucie Wednesday. Concerned that all 37000 votes not re-tabulated, + error percentage

No clue- I don’t know anything about election laws in other states.

This isn’t happening because of the party- it is about state law, and our state elections office stepping in to make sure the count is accurate before the final count of overseas military on Friday.

If I lived in Ohio, I would be working hard to eliminate same day registration and insisting on voter ID laws. Philadelphia is worse than Chicago- hopelessly corrupt.

That’s not possible- with 2 races disputed in one county, no ballots can be destroyed until all challenges are complete. Up to 7 years.
They just emptied the warehouse with all the statewide votes from election 2000. Kept them locked up for 10 years.

I’m not sure there was a lot of fraud in St. Lucie county as much as their was just plain incompetency within the county election supervisor/department.

She has been head of the department for 25 years. I doubt it was anything as simple as incompetence unless these screw ups are regular occurrences or unless there were last minute procedures instituted that has totally thrown everyone off.

The Florida Division of Elections is sending three employees to St. Lucie County on Wednesday to try to figure out how 799 votes disappeared...

It's not like those blackened ovals on those ballots bleached white on their own sitting in those boxes for 3 days???

And more than that is how those 799 fewer votes affected other races.

Are there now mysteriously 799 fewer votes or fewer ballots???

You maybe correct but I was referring to the counting machines having trouble counting the first three days of early voting. They then said they’d recount all the early votes on Sunday morning, then changed to just the first three days. If one doesn’t understand the machines, the functions and how they work when a glitch occurs then they become incompentent to deal with the problems. Maybe they had qualified help, I don’t know.

The House is the ultimate judge of its own elections. If there is proof of fraud, it can order the seat be deemed vacant, which will require Florida to hold another election.

SOE Walker intends on certifying the vote tomorrow.

A spokesman for the SLC Republican Party said this today outside the SOE office.

Don't know who that might have been but he's mistaken. The overseas military votes will be counted on Friday statewide, and local certification follows that.

There is a photo now circulating on the web accompanied by a rumor that there are several boxes of military votes in West's District that wont be counted. The person who took it means well, but has been less than reliable. (Gary something)

If it is true- and I assume they would have to be from Palm Beach County, not St.Lucie, which is so much smaller- it could be very good news for Congressman West. I expect him to carry a good majority of military votes.

Because they are accepted longer than regular absentees and counted last, we really don't know how many military votes are outstanding.

I didn’t catch the mans name, he was not speaking loudly when he addressed the group which was called to gather ‘round. He had a Republican name tag and I recognize him from news reports, pretty sure he is the local Republican head.
