There are certain things you expect to see in a 97-year-old woman's home and certain things you don't.
Katie Watson from Richfield, North Carolina is full of things you wouldn't figure.
She shot her first rabbit when she was 10 years old. To this day, she hunts quail and turkey but she's probably most proud of the fact that she's tagged 44 deer since she turned 80.
"How many men still hunt when they're 97?" she asks. If you wondered how she gets around in the woods, she takes an A.T.V.
Watson doesn't plan on slowing down any time soon.
"I'm a gonna be shootin' a gun till the day i die if i'm able," saud Watson.
Her nephew says it is an honor to know someone who has been hunting for her entire life.
Love it...,thanks!
I almost expected it to say she was a gang banger.
[Insert joke about arthritis and “real crip” gang sign.]
This is fantastic, what a great lady and role model!
YOU have given me the only smile Ive had this week for a number of personal reasons - thanks
I know they’re good guns, buy man I think those Auto 5s are ugly!
This is a frightened city. Over these houses, over these streets hangs a pall of fear. Fear of a new kind of violence which is terrorizing the city. Yes, gangs of old ladies attacking defenseless fit young men.

Every time I read about an intruder being shot in Texas, I read the article to see if it was my 86 year old aunt who did the shooting.
Relative of ours?
Guess I can't tell you all why we called her that, but this made me laugh good and hard and after the last week or so, i needed it, thanks for posting
definitely my kinda girl!!!!!
God bless her!
God bless her!
LOL! Probably not, but she does remind me a bit of Granny Watson. (my great grandmother)
