Seven days after the election ended, and two days after the results were unofficially certified, Broward elections workers Monday said they had found 963 unaccounted-for ballots in a warehouse.
They were put in the wrong place, members of the Broward County Canvassing Board were told on Monday.
"How can you lose them? This is terrible,'' said Dania Beach candidate Chickie Brandimarte, whose close race won't be called until at least Tuesday.
Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes said it's customary for more votes to be added to the totals until the Nov. 18 final certification.
"Everybody who's been around for any period of time knows that managing paper is a chore, and you don't count it overnight,'' she said. "What we do, and we've found it beneficial, is to comb the entire plant looking for something that may have been put in the wrong place. It happens. And when we did that, that's when we identified [the additional] votes.''

Until voting is taken seriously, we are doomed to repeat the retard candidates. Even the UN observers were shocked that ID wasn’t required in many places. I fear for the future of America.
Voter ID laws are no good unless they are properly enforced.
Here’s my ID to reduce voter ID to ZERO:
Doctor’s offices require your DL to receive service. They make a photocopy and put it in your records. Like doctor’s offices, make it a requirement that a photocopy of your DL be on your ballot.
Long lines? Voter disenfranchisement? Hardly! Spread the election process out over 5 days: last names ending in A-K on Day 1, last names ending in L-R on Day 2, last names ending in S-Z on Day 3. On day 4 and day 5, take those ballots and run them through 2 scanners: scan the votes made and scan the photo ID against a facial recognition program.
The point of the facial recognition program? Catalog the face of every voter and look for duplicates. They can duplicate IDs with names and addresses, but the faces remain the same. No hats, hijabs, glasses (corrective or otherwise) allowed. Once complete, arrest anyone who voted twice, invalidate those votes, and report on the vote totals.
Didn’t know that. Photo I.D.?
Weese all Guatemalans now...
The mantra is “elections have consequences.” Except for the fact that there are no consequences for those in charge of our elections...
“Maybe they were left over from 2000?”
I bet they were leftovers from the MN 2006 Senate race (Franken vs. Coleman).
Stephanie Cutter said that the votes were “banked.” I guess “warehoused” would be the same.
“Weese all Guatemalans now...”
Guatemalans are offended that you would equate their elections with ours.
Usually ballots found after the election go to the Democrats and are fabriated. Odd though, they are usually in the trunk of someones car. Now they are putting them in warehouses.
Which precinct was short by 963 votes?
It’s not who votes, it’s who counts the votes and posts the results.
Perhaps the Tea Party, or some such, should run on the platform of making elections real.
With the smaller fuel-efficient cars that today’s liberals prefer, there isn’t enough room in them for the number of ballots they manufacture.
Hence the warehouse.
Stop the fraud! There has to be an agency who can step in here. Lawyers who volunteer, whatever, we have to stop this or we really are done.
When anarchy comes... these people will find no shelter.

If I did this with an environment sample O’Bama’s EPA would refuse to accept it as valid.
This stuff is happening all over the country now. We’re no better than Venezuela with nukes.
And they think they can handle a national health care system? What?
And any precinct that has greater than 100% turnout should be automatically recounted.
Must show a photo ID. Doesn’t have to be Driver’s license, but you need a photo ID and an ID to verify your address. Most use D/L.
I was a poll watcher, everyone had an ID and no one complained or protested when asked. The only ones that don’t want photo ID are the ones who want to commit fraud.
