Here’s my ID to reduce voter ID to ZERO:
Doctor’s offices require your DL to receive service. They make a photocopy and put it in your records. Like doctor’s offices, make it a requirement that a photocopy of your DL be on your ballot.
Long lines? Voter disenfranchisement? Hardly! Spread the election process out over 5 days: last names ending in A-K on Day 1, last names ending in L-R on Day 2, last names ending in S-Z on Day 3. On day 4 and day 5, take those ballots and run them through 2 scanners: scan the votes made and scan the photo ID against a facial recognition program.
The point of the facial recognition program? Catalog the face of every voter and look for duplicates. They can duplicate IDs with names and addresses, but the faces remain the same. No hats, hijabs, glasses (corrective or otherwise) allowed. Once complete, arrest anyone who voted twice, invalidate those votes, and report on the vote totals.
It’s not who votes, it’s who counts the votes and posts the results.
Perhaps the Tea Party, or some such, should run on the platform of making elections real.
There are already mag strips on most state issued photo IDs. Use them along with facial recognition at the point of ballot issuance. Once issuance is registered, anyone attempting to get issued another ballot for any reason other than correcting a miscast vote prior to tabulation should be arrested on the spot. Or, you could use purple fingers...
It is not the voters, it is the vote counters.
