ATLANTA (AP) -- The UPS Foundation says it will no longer give grants to the Boy Scouts of America as long as the group excludes gays and lesbians from being scouts or scout leaders.
The philanthropic arm of the Atlanta-based shipping giant made the change Thursday after an online petition protesting the foundation's annual grants to the Boy Scouts attracted more than 80,000 signatures.

seriously - an online petition with only 80,000 signatures from the most radical group in American. Sounds like someone at UPS WANTED this to happen.

Moreover, much like the Chick Fil-A broo-ha-ha, I'd bet that the majority of those complaining probably rarely use UPS.
Just another example of the tyrannical minority, Leftist tools exerting pressure way beyond their ability to affect any meaningful decrease in a company's bottom line and worse yet, the caving by a big conglomerate like UPS over something like this.
Like UPS, but guess I'll be using USPS and Fed Ex more often.

This drives me crazy. The Boy Scouts are a private organization. They have every right to make their own rules. If you do not like them, too bad.
The UPS is union. It should not be a surprise that they are no longer giving grants to the Boy Scouts of America.
This will have a serious impact on my purchase decisions; it will eliminate any merchants using UPS. It is very sad to see such shortsighted action by a large business.
I guess that UPS managers do not or cannot see the statistical correlation between homosexuality and pedophilia. Or they do and want to destroy the boy scouts.
I’m dropping my Life Scout off for a meeting as I type this. I will honor UPS action and will be withholding all funds from UPS as well.
