House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Pete King (R-N.Y.) on Monday said he found the FBI investigation that uncovered former CIA Director David Petraeus’s extramarital affair a “crisis” of “major proportions.”
“This is a crisis of, I believe, major proportions. It’s not a usual political thing,” said King on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
King’s remarks come as lawmakers have raised questions about why they or President Obama were not informed sooner that the nation’s top intelligence officer was being investigated by the FBI.

The joke is on all the undercover terrorist groups. They’ve wasted a lot of time and effort using men and bombs. I can see them now standing around slapping their foreheads.
Self control and honor are character traits that apply below the waist as well as above it. If a man or woman can’t control their appetites they are dangerous people to put in any positions that require trust; from marriage right on up to the head of the CIA. Not only did Petraeus put his reputation on the line but the security of every American as well. The reason why isn’t really important. The point is that he set a price on the integrity of our security for his personal enjoyment and it was pretty d@mn low!
