Note how after REagan gave amnesty in 1986 the Hispanic vote didn’t “come home” to Republicans. Something for Hannity to think about!
Is there any data out there that breaks these numbers down by income. I am curious to see how much economic situation impacts this. If it is skewed heavily to the lower income brackets, we know it is about government handouts. If it is consistent at all incomes, we likely can come to a different conclusion.
I’m not seeing it, unless there is a highly visible Hispanic Republican who can “change minds” that taking from the government is NOT a good thing.
So just keep letting them in, give them amnesty, keep paying for those benefits and anchor babies.
Sheer genius.

The GOP problem is they run RINOS every time..except Reagan..the takers are ahead and there is no going back till it all collapses
Winnable? How?
Exactly!
Instead of focusing on pandering to the 60 to 70% of so-called “Hispanics” and bending on principles that would effectively depress other voters, we should focus on turning out the base in even higher numbers. Something that, if it would have happened, would have beat Obama like a drum last Tuesday. (See: Bush 2004, 62M votes)
Over time, with controlled borders and more selective LEGAL immigration (only those with ‘skills’), the great melting pot will work its assimalitive magic.

Pretty convincing numbers. Reagan got nothing for his compromise. If Republicans fall for compromising on amnesty now, they just guarantee Democrat majorities forever more. Seems like the press has brought us one party rule. I guess the framers could not expect the first amendment would ultimately fail because the entire media would become corrupt.
My ancestors have lived in America long before it became the United States of America and now so-called political gurus wish to convince me that how illegal aliens' potential voting should move me to allow them to be given amnesty and citizenship so more of my country may become Mexico!
When HELL freezes over!
You want Hannity to think? You ask too much, I’m afraid.
No comment, just worth repeating....
Sorry, this is the best I could find. After the election, I ran across a great interactive exit poll (that for the life of me I cannot find) that broke down voting by income into further brackets, and the trend was basically the same.
The dividing line is religion.
Hispanics who are protestant Christians resemble historical protestant (relatively) voting by being receptive to republicans (44% Bush in 2000, 56% Bush in 2004, and 48% McCain in 2008).
Catholic Hispanics follow historical catholic voting of loyalty to the democrat party.
I agree with you totally on the emotional level, but the fact of the matter is there is a real change in voter demographics happening in our lifetime. The reality is that Hispanics now represent 10+% of the current electorate and by if current trends continue by 2025 the estimates are that whites will be in the minority. I have lived in S.FL. and have relatives in S.TX. and have closely watched the effects of the Mexican/Central American influx. Also, I was born and live in upstate NY in a small city currently close to 20% Hispanic(mostly Puerto Rican/Islanders). I mention these things for the purpose of saying, It is not our grandparents or parents(European immigrants) country anymore! This is where we are and no amount of complaining will change the fact that the farmers in the south & southwest want cheap labor and whites don’t want those jobs. The mass influx of immigrants in the past 30-40 years have been brown and that will continue because of simple economics-the countries that they are coming from are significantly less prosperous than we are and you can be sure, like it or not, we will continue to be inundated with mostly Hispanic immigrants going forward. I feel your pain 06...America is changing wether we like it or not and Washington politicians only care about getting those votes!
You speak of cheap labor farm work in West and SW, that's not what is happening there is much of that, we have people coming for benefits now so much work and those that are working around here are doing high paying construction jobs while whites that formerly worked at those jobs are on welfare, disability and food stamps!
As to the pols that are making all of this possible by either turning their backs or worse yet, greasing the wheels of businesses seeking to hire illegals, them taking "election donations" for these companies - on both sides of the aisles, I might add.
While we still have the vote, especially for those who have sold us down the river, they need to be looking for new day jobs not telling us what we need is comprehensive immigration reform.
Even if it takes recall elections to pull them out by their roots.
If thise does NOT happen soon, it will require a civil war while we still have the numbers and the guns on outsides.
For 2012, these were the totals:
Total 132,948
White, non-Hispanics 98,041
Blacks 17,813
Asians 3,904
Hispanics 11,188
Just under 33 million are all the people who can be reliably counted on to vote for someone who wants to dismember the country.
If you get 67% of the White vote, you win. And this data is from a year when 2 million less White voters came out then did in 2008: Romney was that bad.
And of the 33 million non-non-hispanic whites, what groups are rabid about more immigration? Only the Hispanics (so they can increase their power) and the Asians (for the same reason).
Blacks are only hurt by immigration. Mexicans take their jobs, and Asians won't give them any. Those jobs go to other Asians.
So there's really no point marketing to "hispanics" - people from Spain or it's decrepit former empire - when you stand to lose a big fraction of us "non-hispanic whites" as us Americans are now referred to.
Trump should focus on Americans and try to peel off just a few percentage points from Blacks by pointing out how worthless the Rats have been to them. Basically try to minimize the damage from them.
That will push his percentage of Whites north of 70% and maybe add a couple of points to the overall total from Blacks. He will get only token support from the Cuban and assimilated Mexican voters. But that will be enough: he can win with a 10% margin.
PS: if he brings out 2 million more Whites again who voted in 2008, he doesn't even need the pandering vote.
