Military expert Paula Broadwell, who was allegedly improperly involved with resigned CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus, confirmed in October that the CIA annex in Benghazi asked for reinforcements when the consulate came under attack on September 11
Broadwell was speaking at her alma mater, the University of Denver, on October 26. Her lecture, which is on YouTube under the title "Alumni Symposium 2012 Paula Broadwell," now has added value, because based on the recent disclosures, it can now be assumed that she indeed knew exactly what it was that Petraeus knew about the attack.
Broadwell confirmed the reports on Fox News that the CIA annex asked for a special unit, the Commander in Chief's In Extremis Force, to come and assist it. She said that the force could indeed have reinforced the consulate, and that Petraeus knew all of this, but was not allowed to talk to the press because of his position in the CIA.
"They were requesting the – it's called the C-in-C's In Extremis Force – a group of Delta Force operators, our very, most talented guys we have in the military. They could have come and reinforced the consulate and the CIA annex. Now, I don't know if a lot of you have heard this but the CIA annex had actually taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner, and they think that the attack on the consulate was an attempt to get these prisoners back.
"The challenging thing for Gen. Petraeus is that in his new position, he's not allowed to communicate with the press. So he's known all of this – they had correspondence with the CIA station chief in Libya, within 24 hours they kind of knew what was happening."

I think your analysis is spot on. I also think there is no hurry for P4 to testify, now that he has resigned.
Let the investigations get all the ducks in a row first.
I would like P4 to presently give some form of sworn deposition elsewhere privately, just in case...

My point is that everyone wants to let Petraeus slide and not testify. I now believe he has to answer for not only the CIA’s actions on 9/11, the story he told after, and what the POTUS knew. He also needs to answer for his own actions with Broadwell, what he told her, and how that squares with what he told Congress in his testimony on 9/14
Why would Petraeus do this ? Was he trying to get the truth out ?

That's right, annie. Only two facts need to be known in order to understand the most important fact of all which is that 0coward left 41 Americans to die.
Fact one: Only the POTUS can issue a CBA to send a rescue mission into a foreign country.
Fact 2: No rescue mission was ever sent.
That said I am all for subpoenaing every single ass-kissing 0coward-loving commie scumbag involved in this and grilling them until there's nothing left but a little carbon crisp.
The problem is that she disclosed information that embarrassed the president. Those men died on camera with their bosses watching and a rescue force ordered to stand down. Had Broadwell never made it public, she and Petraeus would likely still be happily living their lives.

I now believe he has to answer for not only the CIA’s actions on 9/11, the story he told after, and what the POTUS knew. He also needs to answer for his own actions with Broadwell, what he told her, and how that squares with what he told Congress in his testimony on 9/14
First and foremost we need to know what the president knew and when, and has there been a coverup? Petraeus with his testimony can help with that. The Broadwell distraction doesn't help.

The theory she threw out there that the attack on the annex may have been due to the exSEALs taking prisoners is as cockamamie as the video cover story.
She was BSing. Most of her answers were just that. She says in the speech that she had to learn to write and to speak when she went to the University of Denver. She needs to work on both skills. I understand why she needed a coauthor for her book.

If I understand right, the FBI knew about her relationship with the general when he was made CIA director.
Which means the White House knew.
