Pic at link. In this article the name is spelled KELLY, but that is just a misspelling. If you good her husband, his name is Dr. Scott Kelley with the extra 'e'

Yes, the coments about his wife’s appearance are very troubling. As if he is Cary Grant. A four decade marriage and two children together would be a bond way beyound mere looks.
Yes.... I agree.
Patraeus is a wrinkled up, aging, flat-assed, weak looking old guy.
Boy.. he is soooo guilty. I wouldn’t “hit that” with a ten foot pole.
Who the hell cares what these women look like. I care that my country is being stolen and all many here care about is who was hotter.
He had power. That is why he was getting to bed these women. It had nothing to do with his wife. These are about his short-comings, not his wife’s.
She’s a Moonbat, they all kind of look that way.
After Tuesday all’s fair for Moonbats and Layabouts in my book. Mrs P4 is a big time moonbat who works for the regime. She is a disciple of Fauxcohontas herself, Granny Warren. She deserves everything she gets and more.
If I might put in my 2 cents on what is "good taste" in women...
Women who are:
(a) obsessed with physical fitness (e.g.. they spend hours at the gym or jogging in order to have a "hot body"); and
(b) flaunt their bodies by wearing tight clothing, revealing necklines etc...
... are trouble with a capital T.
They are apt to be narcissistic b______s who will take terrible revenge on a man for daring to drop them -- or on rival women for daring to compete.
Once a guy realizes this, I would think he would be repelled by "the look"...
Ain't that the truth! Broadwell is a Captain in the Army Reserve. Possibly a Major? Saw it both ways. No attorney here, but Gen. Petraeus may have a problem there...
Cross-country, under-covers trekking!
The day I find myself repelled by hot babes with smoking bodies in tight and revealing clothing is the day I hand in my man card. If this happens to me, fellas please shoot me before I head for Fire Island or the nearest rest stop mens room.
Pumped Petraeus is ‘way too graphic. Yuk.
I used to have arguments with a friend who was basically gorgeous and had really good “work” on her face to stay that way. She was furious that BarbBush didn’t plastify her face. To which I responded, She has nothing to prove to anyone. Perhaps Holly feels that way too.
I guess you can go on with plastic surgery if you do a little at a time. But one would think you;d have to start early or at least before the change would be really radical.
I saw Before photos of some woman in a sitcom and honestly, it looked like she had an entire new head. Scary. Or perhaps the same head on a new body. Interchangeability is the surgery of the future.
As they say, he looks great standing on his wallet. Except for John Kerry, men don’t think that way.
Because we all know how relatively important that is.
I know nothing about her except that she looks her age. But if she’s a big-time lib, why am I just finding out about that now? Remember P4 was supposedly some kind of genius, and the left was hating him.
Jounieh, the old Khawam homestead, is, historically, a resort town just north of Tyre. It is also about 150 miles north of Bethlehem, which makes it part of the cradle in which Christianity was swaddled. The Khawams belong to the Maronite Catholic Church, one of the oldest denominations of Christianity."I think the nearness to the birth of Jesus gives special meaning to Christmas in the Middle East," Marcelle Khawam said. "And even though we are now in the States, our traditions are still with us."
The family came here in the mid-1970s. John Khawam is a musician and was considered one of the leading organists in Lebanon. Marcelle was an accomplished cook who spent a good deal of her time entertaining people involved in the arts and politics.
They have four children - Caroline, David (who was born shortly after midnight on Christmas Day 17 years ago), and twins Natalie and Jill, 13. The family resides in Northeast Philadelphia and operates a small Middle Eastern restaurant, Sahara, at 114 White Horse Rd. in Voorhees.
You sound lonely. Aren't there any women in your area that you could meet? Good luck!
Good question. What if she did? Which might explain why Broadwell told her to get away from him. The general undoubtedly has a huge ego and feels, or at least felt, invincible. He thought he could handle these women, ...in both senses of the word. Ah, hubris.
We have lower standards for military success these days. In the old days P4 would not even rank. Their were many nameless British officers with their Indian Sepoys and Martini Henry rifles who subdued these same foes over 100 years ago. They would march into Waziristan and lay waste to the villages and crops of the recalcitrant tribes. The tribes would submit within a few months. P4 with the resources and technology of a 21st Century superpower cannot accomplish what Tommy Atkins did in the 19th Century. Generals Roberts and Wolseley would consider him a loser.
Maybe Jill is a little crazy herself.
You’re right, of course. It has zip to do with all of this. Glad someone sees this.
Well said. And is there anything more pathetic than a 60-yr old woman who is trying to look as if she's still 40? or 30 or 20?
For those FReepers who criticize the way Holly Petraeus looks ... do you realize how many hours, and how much make-up and/or plastic surgery it takes to even try to look "hot" at age 60? Especially after having borne children?
Such self-obsession, particularly at that age, would be unseemly, to put it mildly.
My lovely, loving grandmother would never have given a thought to trying to look "hot" at age 60. By that age she was wrinkled, and her hair was all white; and after bearing five children, she had gradually lost her shape.
I think grandpa loved her all the same, unless he was putting on an awfully good act. When she cared for grandpa through his final illness, I don't think he ever wished that she would work harder on her looks.
I guess marriage in America isn't like that anymore. I find that sad.
That little cultural commentary aside: It's obvious there is a lot more here to Petraeus's resignation than an affair.
