Report: FBI whistle-blower contacted Eric Cantor on David Petraeus affair By: John Bresnahan and Jake Sherman November 11, 2012 12:16 AM EST

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor spoke to an FBI whistle-blower two weeks ago who accused then-CIA Director David Petraeus of having an extramarital affair and potentially jeopardizing the security of classified information, according to a news report.

Cantor’s chief of staff, Steve Stombres, later met with FBI officials to pass on the accusations from the whistle-blower, the New York Times reported on Saturday night.

Cantor’s involvement in the Petraeus scandal is the first indication that anyone outside of the FBI knew Petraeus was under scrutiny for an extramarital relationship or potentially leaking classified information.

“I was contacted by an F.B.I. employee concerned that sensitive, classified information may have been compromised and made certain [FBI] Director Mueller was aware of these serious allegations and the potential risk to our national security,” Cantor said in a statement.

That is very possible. Two weeks before the election, the video lies
Had already been debunked.
So maybe the WH was setting up a scapegoat.

Was Bonehead told and what did Bonehead do with this information?

You know that Cantor most certainly told Boehner and Boehner told Cantor to keep a lid on this publically.
I can also see Boehner leaking the info to the White Hut that it was about to hit the fan.
Boehner is corrupt, blackmailed trash himself.

So true, I am convinced Obama is a puppet, him and his wife merely want the financial rewards from the presidency while those controlling him want the power to destroy!

Why did Bonehead not immediately ask his committees to call Betrayus
To testify. There were hearings going on concerning Bengazi. Why did
Cantor and Bonehead sit on this. At the very least Betrayus should have
Been called to testify under oath, behind closed doors to clarify.

Well next thing Petraeus resigns with the apparent expectation he would not have to testify.

That doesn't make sense. Petraeus is a witness. He has to testify if subpeona'd no matter what his current employment status is. In fact, now that he's out, maybe he can be more open and truthful than he would if he was under Ubanga's thumb. Petraeus better watch his back.

Why didn’t Cantor leak this to the media before the election? Whose side is he on?

We shall see if he testifies. As that former California Congressman Lantos said to Craig Livingstone, “At least Admiral Boorda had the decency to commit suicide”.

lol!
Close: Lantos said that Boorda did “the honorable thing”.
I don’t see an adulterer like Petraeus, who has alread lied (”the video done it”) to give the Ubanga Administration cover, having much honor.

There is no honor in liberalism.... but just as with livingstone he was a hired to perform a task, which did not include bringing any negative attention to the mission at hand. Apparently Petraeus believed in his own prowess and got himself in a pickle and could not refuse a government transfer. Then those pesky Republicans got wind of the pickle and all bets are now off. Petraeus reminds me of that South Carolina governor and his South American 'soul mate'. Blinded by his libido.

It was. It was Gen. Dempsey who called the pastor this year about the hoax 'video' Innocence of Muslims. I'm talking about a couple of years ago when the same pastor burned a Koran.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Cowardice is appeasing the animal who is trying to kill you in the hopes he will kill someone else first.

So who stirred up the Afghani muzzies?

From the WSJ:

"Most Afghans learned about the Quran burning in Florida only when Mr. Karzai on March 24 (4 days after!) condemned the act as "a crime against the religion and the entire Muslim nation," called on the U.S. and the U.N. to bring the perpetrators to justice and demanded "a satisfactory response to the resentment and anger of over 1.5 billion Muslims around the world."

General Petraeus has certainly won Karzai's heart and mind. /s

You would think that having our female troops wear muslim hijabs instead of K-pots would have been enough to placate them.

Here is a woman who isn't going to bow down to psychotic ragheads or pussified politicians. (click the link below)

Bacon Bookmarks and Crying in the Mens Room

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Gen. Petraeus made a public statement condemning the burning of the Koran and said it caused the ragheads to be violent and made his job harder.

Petraeus needed to worry more about killing the enemy rather than criticizing our rights to “Freedom of Speech”, he is fighting the enemy to protect those very rights.

Yes, the "great general" sure should have.

Petraeus condemns Fla. church's plan to burn Korans Sept. 7, 2010

KABUL - Gen. David H. Petraeus on Tuesday denounced plans by a Florida church to burn copies of the Koran this weekend, saying the demonstration could "endanger troops" and damage the U.S. war effort in Afghanistan.

"It is precisely the kind of action the Taliban uses and could cause significant problems," Petraeus, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, said in a statement. "Not just here, but everywhere in the world we are engaged with the Islamic community."

Gen. Patton is puking in his grave.

Exactly! How freakin' hard is it to figure that out? Especially after Karzai gives you a lesson in 'Islam 101' that they will all make it as hard as they can for us using every dirty trick they can think of.
