WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. Republican U.S. Rep. Allen West is refusing to concede, even though the state of Florida says he lost his re-election bid by 2,442 votes.
The state reported its complete but unofficial tally on Saturday in the 18th District race. There are still a handful of overseas and military ballots outstanding, but under Florida law, recounts are based on Saturdays results.

i’m old school, but the females-acting-like frat house boys, i don’t understand.
when i was in college, a friend and i decided to see what the fuss was about when a “chippendales” (down to speedo) show was like. we left after about 10 minutes.
watching all those women ( i was just 19-20) act like guys at a stipper club was gross.

Okay, who remembers the “clackers” that were banned in the late 70’s or 80’s?

Good on Allen West for making a stink about this. It is about time somebody did.

Huge metal nuts. But the internal threads that nuts normally have do not seem to be visible in that picture.

Now, that reminds me of engineering graphics class with a T-square and sketching those darn screws/nuts/ and threads. Ugh!

Our relief stands in Christ. And all the horror that comes with that. And if you need that one thing I would have no problem standing (for you) in front of you. LIVE FREE.

Ugh to you, cool to me. Today we have computer aided drafting and the physical drafting tools are less necessary now. But there was nothing like getting down and dirty with the T-square and triangles and pencils. Remember the tool with the perforated, rotating dial that was used to create equally spaced text guide lines. It was also wonderful for creating hatched-in areas even though the professor said no, that’s not what the tool is for. But even he couldn’t see the difference in the result and it was easier than messing with the triangle and measuring off the position of each line of the hatch.

Thanks, as I was waiting, I scrolled around the thread, and finally figured out what the picture of her and Janet meant.
Just didn't know where to apply the name. They certainly seem like a very happy couple.....I'm sure they are very close., and all.............SPIT

Let me preface this by saying that I'm for Allen West and I do think there has been some voter fraud. However, the article you referred doesn't show any. I really can't believe that townhall.com printed this. Misinformation like this does not help our cause at all, it only makes us look like idiots. If you press on the link in the townhall article it does look like something weird is going on. However, if you read further you'd see why. It seems that the folks in that particular county vote on some type of ballot cards. There were so many things to vote on in this election that they had to use two voter cards to fit everything. So, each person turned in two cards (with completely different things on each card) after they voted. So, if 75 out of 100 registered people voted, there would be 150 ballots turned in. So, it would look like 50 extra people voted but that's really not the case. Again, I'm for Allen West, but the person who allowed this to be printed on townhall.com didn't do their homework and makes all of us that thing there really was some shady stuff going on look like buffoons.
