Springsteen's first four records were classics of American rock ... and icons of New Jersey history. I don't remember any anti-USA songs among them.

After that he became overly commercialized and really hit the "big time." I haven't been much of a fan since then, and I can't imagine anyone other than my female high school classmates in the 1980s weeping over a hug from him.

I don’t have a real big amount of respect for a grown man still so affected by a rock star. Just don’t get it. Don’t get Christie. I do like straight talk but it has to come from somewhere and be across the board.
