OAKLAND (CBS SF) – A photojournalist for CBS 5 San Francisco was beaten and robbed of his camera by a group of young men in Oakland following a live newscast report Wednesday.
Photographer Gregg Welk and reporter Anne Makovec had just finished their noon report on the passage of Prop 30 in front of Oakland Technical High School on the 4300 block of Broadway.
After the live shot, an unknown number of men rushed up, punched Welk and grabbed his camera, according to CBS 5 Communications Director Akilah Bolden-Monifa.

CBS - mugging? Probably when the report is prepared for the evening news, they will find a connection between the disgruntled muggers and G. W. Bush.

This from "fake but accurate" CBS. The report of an attack could be fiction from the get go, or self-inflicted in order to get sympathy.

What would you expect, really? The cameraman is lucky he wasn' t blamed, charged with racism, and fired.

One suspects this attack is again the tip of the iceberg
instigated by Holder and Obama.
I wonder if the cameraman will be charged because of the expensive camera and equipment he was flaunting in front of minorities unable to afford for themselves.
I heard on CBS that there is no doubt that the rich do not pay their fair share, you would think that a CBS employee would never do such a hateful thing as humiliating local under privileged children. He should apologize for his selfishness, but a stint of community service wouldn't hurt.
Had they not been in a technical High School, they probably wouldn’t have known the value of the camera equipment in order for this enterprising group of technically oriented youth to properly redistribute the income of the wealthy to their needy projects.
Oh well. CBS supports this crap. Let them live it as well.
