Then again, how STUPID can Petraeus be to put ANYTHING even remotely incriminating in an email? The man is brilliant but like so many before him, and many to follow, fell victim to temptations of the flesh.
Do we know, for sure, that the emails came from Petraeus? Could this be planted evidence? Was his compute hacked? Were his files corrupted?
Maybe he fell out during the hearing because it was finally hitting him hard that he was so easily played, and that his military career was headed for the dumpster.
