Do we know, for sure, that the emails came from Petraeus? Could this be planted evidence? Was his compute hacked? Were his files corrupted?
Maybe he fell out during the hearing because it was finally hitting him hard that he was so easily played, and that his military career was headed for the dumpster.

Can you think of ONE person with the exemplary reputation and career Petraeus enjoyed who would go public after 37 years of marriage and 2 kids with an announcement about an extramarital affair??? On the world stage, no less?
Oh, he was played but good. But, then again, he let it happen. He knew better. The flesh is mighty weak in the strongest among us.
