He’s an idiot! In 1985 we had Hurricane Gloria. She was a 3 or 4. She didn’t take us out like Sandy did.
I don’t think we were without power for more than a few days, certainly not more than a week.
Before Gloria, maybe it was the 70’s? I’d have to look it up. We have had hurricanes before. With most of them on the east coast, we lucked out. This time we didn’t. I hate these people more and more each day.
This idiot does not realize this was the perfect storm in which hit us upside the head. High tide, full moon, warm storm coliding with a cold storm, who decided to stay and spin around as well.
That was before the election. Obviously He knew what was going to happen, so He hit us again after the election.

1985 ... was Gloria really that long ago? I remember it well. I evacuated to my in-laws for that one. My daughter was sick that day but otherwise, except for my boat which took a hit, we were fine and home by the end of the day.
