I know they would not have helped everyone, but they could have helped some.

We had no power for a week. A co-worker just got the good news he is now up and running. He was the last. 1/2 here just got it back late this week.

Thanksgiving? Where on Long Island do your friends live?

“I know they would not have helped everyone, but they could have helped some.”

It was on tv news that each generator could have restored power to 400 family homes.

I was just saying they needed one of those big generators for every block or half block.

On Long Island, I have friends in Oceanside, Island Park, and then other friends in Roselyn Heights, Brookville, Matinecock - those North Shore towns are a mess and utility crews haven’t even gone there once yet.
