Which would have meant that the FBI investigation would have been included in any background check that was done when he was appointed to the CIA directorship, right?

I believed that from the git-go. I expect that every person working under/for Hussein had a skeleton in his closet before being brought on board. Hussein wouldn’t hire someone unless he has a tool (blackmail) to control and manipulate if the need arises. In Benghazi, “the need arose” in regard to Petraeus. Now all appointees know they’re walking time bombs, wondering what’s in their files.
