McCain, 2008 popular vote: 58,319,442

Romney, 2012 popular vote: 58,163,978

4 years of population growth and Romney didn’t draw what McCain did......

FALSE MEME....

Repubs turned out AT LEAST 85,000 better in Ohio this year, than in 2008. It’s just that Obama kept almost the same amount of voters. In states like Indiana, that was hair-close in 2008, It wasn’t even an issue this year.

This election turned on MASSIVE D turnouts in just FIVE U.S. Counties. Just FIVE....

The rest of it is just minutia, and excuses.

The numbers I heard from Rush were 3 million less than mclame 2008. Libertarian “protest”, Mormon haters, nothing less than the “perfect” candidate voters..... nobama thanks you for your putting him just enough over the top.

This in large part reflects the continuing shift from makers to takers. 0bama added 17,000,000 people to the welfare roles (EBT parasites) Most of these people are NOT going to vote republican. He added millions of illegal immigrants to the voter roles, and the hispanic vote showed that. Shifting demographics. Millions of parasites too lazy to work, but not too lazy to spend you tax dollars to get out and vote.

Nonsense. Romney will surpass McCain in the total vote and in all of the batttleground states. The counting is still going on. We won't have the full results until Thanksgiving similar to what happened in 2008. There are millions of votes to be added to these totals. CA has only reported 70% of the votes (9.2 million reported so far.) So there are millions of votes from there.

WA has only reported 55%; OR 75%, UT 88%; OH 90%; NY 86%; TX 96%. Let's wait before drawing any conclusions. I think Romney will be around 63 or 64 million after all the votes are tallied.

FYI: Romney is now at 58,173,364 votes.

If these #s hold up (there was a piece by Jon Podhoretz that was shared on FR saying that votes trickle in for months)it illustrates what we all knew a year ago - ROMNEY WAS A HORRIBLE CANDIDATE AND IS JUST A FLAT-OUT CREEPY MAN!!! Ann Coulter said it. Most of FR said it and swore they'd never vote for him. Guess what ... some kept the vow.

After a year of paying way too much time focusing on politics, a lot of people were hypnotized. Now, Coulter is literally crying about what a great candidate he was. BS! He's the same phony we always hated. A lot of conservatives stayed home and a lot of regular people just couldn't stand him. It's as simple as that.
