McCain, 2008 popular vote: 58,319,442, Romney, 2012 popular vote: 58,163,978

4 years of population growth and Romney didn’t draw what McCain did......

Nonsense. Romney will surpass McCain in the total vote and in all of the batttleground states. The counting is still going on. We won't have the full results until Thanksgiving similar to what happened in 2008. There are millions of votes to be added to these totals. CA has only reported 70% of the votes (9.2 million reported so far.) So there are millions of votes from there.

WA has only reported 55%; OR 75%, UT 88%; OH 90%; NY 86%; TX 96%. Let's wait before drawing any conclusions. I think Romney will be around 63 or 64 million after all the votes are tallied.

FYI: Romney is now at 58,173,364 votes.

Even another million Republican votes doesn’t put Romney ahead of McCain, when corrected for population growth.

Disgraceful.

A billion dollar Romney campaign, for what?

Agreed Obama drew worse than 2008, but he’s had 4 years of incompetence to do that.

This is less a Romney problem than a Republican campaign problem.
