On election night, as the camera panned the audience waiting to hear Barack Obama give his victory speech, I was struck that the audience was primarily young people and minorities. My thought was, "These are the very people who will suffer the most under a second Obama administration. Don't they know they are voting against their own best interest?"
And then I thought about it and came to the conclusion: "They don't." They don't because they are, by and large, uneducated. Oh, some of them may have college degrees or even graduate degrees, but they are still substantially uneducated. I would bet that very few of them know the difference between Keynesian economics and Austrian School economics. I am sure that most of them have never heard of the Laffer Curve. I would guess that most of them aren't familiar with the first principles behind the origin of our country. I doubt that many of them know what evil lies in Socialism or Communism, or unbridled leftism. Or are even aware that Barack Obama is a man of the left, and what that means. They, for the most part, have no idea what the concept of individual liberty is, nor how a big, powerful central government reduces that liberty. I also am pretty sure that they feel that Barack Obama is someone who cares about the poor, women, minorities, and the "middle class," and that Republicans don't. I would stake my substance on the fact that they don't know what is meant by a limited government, or what the Tenth Amendment says. I am certain that most of them don't know anything about Benghazi. Substantially uneducated!
How is it that we have raised one or two generations of uneducated Americans? ... The answer lies in the curricula of our schools.

The numbers I heard from Rush were 3 million less than mclame 2008. Libertarian “protest”, Mormon haters, nothing less than the “perfect” candidate voters..... nobama thanks you for your putting him just enough over the top.
The main reason: bitter internal fighting within conservatives and GOP alliance.
GOP elites and tea party are fighting with each other for resources.
Yep. Sure got a bigger audience than Obama was born in Kenya.
Swear to Gawd this is getting stoopit.
Gary Aminoff observes “.., I was struck that the audience was primarily young people and minorities.”
Really? So the inference is a bunch old, outta touch, Whitey’s didn’t see what the so called unwhashed massed saw?
Idiot.
Romney couldn’t be defined by a Rosetta Stone. He’s not a bad man, just a very unprincipled and a moral wind chime politically.
Even a chump from Brooklyn can smell Cow Crap long before whatever the boundaries of Bakersfield or Coalinga are reached on a hot summer day and even any other day.
Wait till the public finds out about the Obama Criminal Syndicate’s plans to delegate our national sovereignty away to the UN. Of course, even then most of the morons who voted for him won’t care, as long as they have their bread and circuses.
As has often been observed, conservatives produce more children, while liberals party on and abort theirs.
Then the Public Schools step in and convert the children of conservatives into liberals, by never allowing them a glimpse of real history or real values.
And tax the hell out of us to pay for it.
As Rush has always said, Obambi wrote off the working class vote and went for the ignorant vote. And Obambi got it. Well, the ignorant who think they are so “smart” will soon discover the people who actually use their brains will stop feeding the pig. And then what will they do?
As a side note, this should be an interesting Thanksgiving dinner with my wife’s liberal family. I’m looking forward to it.
Sadly, when I asked several people why they would vote for for socialism vs democracy the conversation eventually turned to, “Well, I don’t think a dictator would be so bad.” I thought this mentality was isolated to the three people that I talked to. I guess not.
Look into The Frankfurt School for the beginnings and the plan.
In the past, it was a war which often corrected what we sometimes take for granted, but in today's world, the purgative aspects of war may be a long time coming.
The fact that they are ignorant Useful Idiots only serves the Democrat Party.
We look at each other and ask how anybody could Vote for Obama with the Economic Mess and the childish Foreign Policy when in fact the 100% Precinct Democrat Voters wouldn't know what you were talking about f you mentioned any of it to them. Benghazi, huh? 23 Million Unemployed, huh?
They are as clueless as the day is long. All they know is Obama is Jesus and the Republicans are the ones trying to nail him to the Cross. That is enough reason for them to Vote to keep him in power.
The Republic is over now that they outnumber us. Don't be mistaken, they really do outnumber us. We are seeing the result of direct Democracy in action.
The Democrat Party just pulled the switch while we all thought Obama was toast. They knew better and were laughing at the predictions knowing they already had the Vote count locked up.
It isn't one man, one Vote. It's here's the list, go get the Vote. They don't have to waste their time trying to convince their Electorate with the facts like we do. The educated Voter is the new minority. Now they just hand out the list of Candidates and say trust me, which they do.
4 years of population growth and Romney didnt draw what McCain did
This in large part reflects the continuing shift from makers to takers. 0bama added 17,000,000 people to the welfare roles (EBT parasites) Most of these people are NOT going to vote republican. He added millions of illegal immigrants to the voter roles, and the hispanic vote showed that. Shifting demographics. Millions of parasites too lazy to work, but not too lazy to spend you tax dollars to get out and vote.
And also half of Catholic voters, whose church is suing over HHS abortion rules.
Was it Mark Twain that had a saying, about youth being liberal and then by age 30 being conservative? Sorry, I do not want to take the time to look it up.
God bless America.
Paraphrased ... "All things work together for good to those that love God.”
4 years of population growth and Romney didnt draw what McCain did......
Nonsense. Romney will surpass McCain in the total vote and in all of the batttleground states. The counting is still going on. We won't have the full results until Thanksgiving similar to what happened in 2008. There are millions of votes to be added to these totals. CA has only reported 70% of the votes (9.2 million reported so far.) So there are millions of votes from there.
WA has only reported 55%; OR 75%, UT 88%; OH 90%; NY 86%; TX 96%. Let's wait before drawing any conclusions. I think Romney will be around 63 or 64 million after all the votes are tallied.
FYI: Romney is now at 58,173,364 votes.
How is it that we have raised one or two generations of uneducated Americans?
... The answer lies in the curricula of our schools ...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And our churches, Christian parents have not taught their children as instructed by God.
So it is not actually the complete failure of the young voters, but rather the older of us that are supposed to teach the young the rules of living a principled and religious Christian life, that failed to do our job. MO
OMG. You are exactly right and your post laid it out so well.
These are precisely the things these no-nothing “youts” are completely consumed with. They then vote against their own interests. 50% of them have no jobs, or are severely underemployed...and their greatest concern is birth control pills and abortion rights.
Sick, sick uneducated mob.
And who is it that is primarily responsible for the curricula in our public schools?
None other than William Ayers.
Yes, that William Ayers -- neighborhood buddy, political promoter of and ghost-writer to President Barack Obama and ex-leader of the radical terrorist Weather Underground.
After coming out of hiding, Ayers gained his PhD in Education and became a national "expert" and "consultant" on secondary school curricula.
