Staten Island resident William Boden interviewed by phone. Staten Island has been abandoned. No electricity, no gas, no heat. People without shelter, clothing, food, water. Staten Island is gone and will never come back. Obama and Bloomberg lied to us. Red Cross absent. Promised FEMA aid absent. No aid of any kind. People lost all personal possessions in flooded, wrecked houses.

I don’t depend on the govt to take care of me.
Oh yes, no question, there are a lot of people hurting on Staten Island, but it’s wrong to portray the entire island as a wasteland.
If any residents that voted R need a wood and coal fired warm meal or drink then they are welcome here in WV. My faith is in the power company and coal fired generators to restore modern life down here.
Government agencies are best at taking money from us workers, not helping those that really need it.

If only Fox is reporting this then it isn’t news. Staten Island should be given back to nature and the Indians..just a couple casino’s and hotels and nature. It would be beautiful.
We have a friend with lots of family in the Rockaways. They have gotten zero help also.

Oh well, their federal or state government better save them because I’m done with charity anywhere but in my local community. I’ll never give another dime to the Obama promoting Red Cross that funded what was basically an advertisement for Obama in the final week of the election. Pretty dumb on their part since Obama wants to kill private charity and replace it with government.
The people of Staten Island today need their own independence movement, seeking secession from New York and asking to be adopted as the newest city in New Jersey.
In terms of life style and other cultural features they have more in common with the suburban communities of New Jersey than they do the rest of New York City.
Geographically they are as close to New Jersey as they are New York, and divided from New Jersey only by the same waterways that divide them from the rest of New York.

This response might have something to do with Agenda 21. Commies want to confiscate and re-wild all the coasts and rural areas and move people to cities. Bloomers is an radical enviornmentalist. He’s not all that into human life and dignity.
The people who have a brain and learned that the government is a nasty killing machine, might learn the reason for American culture’s independence culture and constitutional rule. If they do, they will move out of NYC to a free and safer area and rebuild their lives. Or, they might die as a socialist, waiting for the government to save them.
Too bad Obama has declared war on coal. I have nothing but contempt for anyone who voted for Obama, or refused to try to stop him.
As I understand it Staten Island is conservative stronghold.
No aid means no voting.
I don’t understand why anyone gives to a charity with 80% overhead. Like Susan G Komen, only 20% goes to cancer research. Crazy, besides they fund Planned Parenthood, so why would a conservative give them a dime anyways?
Too bad, so sad, I think I’ll make some buttered popcorn.
